Tasting Notes;
Clear straw yellow colour. The 2022 Federspiel combines notes of yellow and crisp apples with their skin with physalis, a little blond tobacco, fermented tea and a little yeast dough, dried herbs and notes of skinned kumquats mingle with the flavours. Despite its young age there is already enough substance in this Federspiel. The Grüner Veltliner offers a mouth-filling aromatic interplay characterized by green and yellow stone fruit and lemons, typical for the variety, in which salt and zest are just as present as a little tannin and extract. The texture of this Grüner Veltliner is stunningly elegant and silky. The acidity is ripe, lively and persistent. The Federspiel becomes more and more savoury and lively on the finish, with a very good length. Tasting note by Christoph Raffelt on 29/06/2023.

This wine pairs well with vegetable based dishes, such as asparagus risotto and stuffed bell peppers. It is also perfect match with any seafood and fish dish.
