Trident Tempranillo, 0.75L, 2020

Description:

Tridente Tempranillo reflects all the power and varietal character of the Tempranillo, the most important endemic variety of this Zamora region. A red wine that comes from old vines grown in sandy soils with a top layer of gravel in the areas of El Pego and Villanueva de Campeán, which produce grapes with a very low yield and high concentration. It has an aging of 15 months in French oak barrels that does not mask the freshness and fruity character. The fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks and then transferred to French oak barrels for a period of 15 months.

Tasting Notes:

Deep red cherry colour with garnet edges, displaying intense and complex black fruits and apple jam aromas, cocoa and spices. On the palate, powerful and complex with high roast and coca notes, tasty, mouth filing and rounded tannins due to the long ageing, delight us with a long and silky aftertaste.

Food Pairings:

Perfect to pair with game meat or creamy rice dishes, stewed vegetables, mushrooms, game and poultry, casserole, smoked, blue and cured cheeses, grilled and/or barbecued white and red meat, roast lamb, pork or beef.
