Kentia, 0.75L, 2023

Description:

Old Albariño vineyards planted in Pérgola system, traditional in this area, produce grapes with a high level of acidity given the proximity with the Atlantic Ocean and the high level of rains, fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation the wine has remained in stainless steel tanks until bottled, resulting in a wine which will continue to develop complexity with the bottle aging.

Tasting Notes:

In the glass, the Kentia Albariño has a light straw yellow color with a green tinge in the glass. The taste is unctuous and fresh, great acidity, balanced and complex. The Kentia has everything that makes an Albariño so beautiful with aromas of ripe pear and peach, but also with the necessary minerality and natural Atlantic sea injection and saltiness. Medium fat on the palate with juicy conference pear and ripe apple and a bouquet of herbs. Finally, you have a very light touch of white pepper that distinguishes this Albariño from its peers. Everything is present: ripeness, freshness and minerality. A fantastic gastronomic wine.

Food Pairings:

Perfect pairing for cooked seafood, white fish and shellfish, light pasta in salads or with marinara sauce, roasted blue fished, smoked sausages, grilled white meat, semi-cured cheeses and creams.
